Engage Cafe: Future Cities

How resilient is our urban environment? How will we adapt to future challenges? What can technology do? What do you vision Bristol will look like in 2050? This month Engage Cafe is all about Future Cities! Engage Cafe is a monthly sustainability event hosted by UBU Get Green that supports a network of like-minded students.

With the pressing challenges that face our societies, including climate change and population increase, we must work collectively to create sustainable future cities.

Engage Café is a free monthly sustainability event that supports a network of like-minded and curious students. On Monday February 2nd we will address future cities! Academics from different faculties at UoB will share how their professions can inform the solutions to future challenges, alongside interactive open discussions and activities. From healthcare to engineering, social science to education, we will think about the next steps to achieving economic, social and environmentally sustainable urban living.

Held in Friska Café, Clifton Triangle, the event is open to all students. The venue is wheelchair accessible and all dietary requirements can be catered for.

Standard entry is free. Why not pre-order a delicious Hotbox and drink for £3 with your ticket? See the menu on the event page at http://www.ubu.org.uk/ents/event/2116/
