Building sustainably in Bristol - a contractor’s perspective

As part of their series of talks on Sustainable Living Architecture Practice Stride Treglown are pleased to be able to host a talk by Richard Hatfield, Managing Partner for Greenheart Sustainable Construction LLP.

Some of the most innovative (and beautiful) sustainable homes in the UK can be found in Bristol and the surrounding area. How can we learn from these as Bristol gears up to meet the Government’s requirement for zero carbon new homes from next year? With ever more demanding targets the importance of construction quality and sustainability knowledge on site is becoming increasingly important in meeting these. Richard Hatfield from Greenheart will be discussing the practicalities of delivering exemplary, low-carbon sustainable construction, drawing from the company’s impressive 15 year experience in this field.

The event is being held in Stride Treglown’s coffee lounge and ticket availability is very limited. The event is free but booking is essential.
