Bristol Walk Fest 2015

The UK's largest walking festival returns!

There’s more going on during Bristol Walk Fest than just walking! There are also plenty of other activities to enjoy along the way, allowing you to explore Bristol in a whole new light.

Discover Bedminster's hidden history of love, sex and violence, explore the sites of the 1831 Bristol riots, learn about the militant suffrage movement and much more. With over 160 walks to choose from there is something for everyone to enjoy, so come along and take part in the UK’s largest urban walking festival.

The festival launches on Friday 24 April with a Compass Walk. Starting mid-morning from four corners of Bristol, walking groups will converge on the centre for a social event, followed by a film screening and talk by a special guest in the evening.

The festival is organised by Bristol City Council in partnership with TravelWest, Bristol Ramblers and Stanfords, and is sponsored by Cotswold Outdoors, Slug and Lettuce and Bristol In-Sight.
