Do15 - Bishopston, Cotham and Redland

The Do15 Team helped students and residents to 'Pimp Your Bin'. Working with illustrators and graffiti artists, everyone transformed the black bins into works of art whilst also finding out more about recycling and waste management.

The Do15 team ran a drop-in graffiti session at Chandos Street Fayre in September for all residents of the area. With support from both the University of Bristol and the University of West of England the aim was to increase awareness of responsible waste disposal and encourage relationships between current residents and new student residents moving into the area. The event was a huge success and the bins look fantastic!

Redland May Fair

The first outing for the Do15 team with the shiny new pledge button was at Redland May Fair. It was a beautiful day with so many green fingered stalls selling beautiful flowers. Thank-you to everyone who came to make a pledge and find out more about the Green Capital Award. Also a BIG thanks to Andrew McGrath, the neighbour Coordinator for Bishopston, Cotham and Redland, for sharing a pitch with the team and generally being lovely company.
