Do15 - Ashley, Easton and Lawrence Hill

We are working with the Docklands Youth Project as run by Full Circle to teach screen printing techniques with a focus on Black History Month.

Young people will be learning Photoshop skills, stencil cutting and screen printing to make posters and T-Shirts of local and British Black Hero’s who have had an impact on their environment.  The posters will be displayed in community boards in the St. Pauls area to further educate young people on the influence that people from their local community have had.

Brunswich Square Gardens

Well what a secret beauty spot Brunswick Cemetery Gardens are! The #do15 team felt very lucky to be involved in the consultation stages run by Ethical Properties worker Emily Moulson and the staff from Sustrans to encourage more public engagement in the space.

The team ran an Alfresco Art Gallery, gathering ideas about how best to use the space and got some wonderful feedback. Alongside this was a performance by the ‘Rising Voices’ Choir from Bristol Drugs Project and FREE jerk chicken supplied by The Portland Cafe.
