Boosting Urban Mobility Plans (BUMP)

The BUMP project provides city planners, environmental and technical officers in Local Authorities with the knowledge and skills to plan and manage sustainable mobility in urban areas.

Staff from Bristol City Council’s Strategic Transport Department have received training and site-specific coaching, led by Severn Wye Energy Agency, supporting them in the development of a Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan for the Temple Quarter District. This plan aims to promote public transport and active travel in order to reduce congestion and emissions whilst creating a pleasant environment that appeals to businesses and visitors alike.
